When a Fence Falls, Replacement Isn’t Always Necessary.

After a strong storm or hurricane, many homeowners assume a fallen fence must be completely replaced—but that’s often not the case.

In many situations, heavy rain saturates the soil, and strong winds gradually push against the fence until the posts lose their stability. The posts may tilt, bend, or sink, causing the fence to lean or fall—even though the posts themselves are not broken.

With a proper inspection, if the posts are still structurally sound, the solution can be much simpler and more affordable. In many cases, the fence can be carefully lifted back into position, the post footings rebuilt with fresh concrete, and only a few damaged pickets replaced.

If this sounds like your situation, give us a call. We’ll be happy to inspect your fence and, when possible, help you save hundreds of dollars by repairing it instead of replacing it.
